Christmas Party at Hollidaysburg Veterans Home

On Friday December 28th we held our Annual Christmas Party at the American Legion Post 835 for the resident members of the hOLLIDAYSBURG VETERANS HOME as in the past it was a large success. There were (5) five Officers there and (31) thirty one residents attending, It started at 6:30 pm and lasted till 10:30. We look forward to this party every year, it gives us the opportunity to talk one on one with the residents and to personally thank them for their service to our country. OFFICERS ATTENDING WERE, COMMANDER TERRY WERTZ, ADJUDANT BOB DILLING, FINANCE DAVID MOUNTAIN, HISTORIAN TOM McINTOSH, SGT. AT ARMS RONALD YINGLING

There will be a District Meeting at our Post on Jan. 10th at 7:oo pm all are erged to attend. This will will be very informationable for you, hope to see you there. It will count as one point twards next years total points so for you that missed out this year by one or two it can make a diifference. Thank You For Your Support.

We just had our Christmas Party along with the Home Post & Auxillary on Sunday Dec. 16th at 1:00 pm. there were seventy two children. Mr. & Mrs. Clause our own elf and many helpers were there.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the supporters for their donations it would be impossible to do all that we are able to do with out their help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Up comming events, on Friday Dec. 28th we will be having a small party at the Legion Post at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home at 6:30 pm till ?. We are having a Chicken B B Q along with the Knights of Columbus on Feb 10th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm price $6.00 each. Held at the Knights of Columbus on Bedford Street in Hollidaysburg.
